W. Sam Chandoha is responsible for redefining and maintaining º«¹úGV Advisor’s corporate and social media presence. With decades of entrepreneurial and direct industry experience Sam is uniquely poised to provide strategic advice on business development, acquisitions and global expansion.

Sam began his career at Shareholder Communications Corporation in 1983 as the company’s primary sales executive. Sam was responsible for building SCC’s mutual fund franchise into the industry’s dominant player. One of his notable contributions to the industry was creation of telephone voting along with the procedures and technology which has become the standard today.

In 1993 he became Chief Operating Officer and began SCC’s acquisition and global expansion program. He oversaw the building of call centers in Canada, UK, Australia, Philippines and South Africa totaling 2000 seats. In the US he completed the acquisitions of Corporate Investors Communications and Georgeson to form Georgeson Shareholder Communications. These with other acquisitions lead to the consolidation of the proxy industry to create the largest shareholder engagement firm in the world. In 2003, Sam led the sale of Georgeson Shareholder to Computershare.

With more than 20 years experience in supporting listed companies in the development of their corporate governance communication and engagement with institutional shareholders, Angelika is an expert in Annual General Meeting, Extraordinary General Meeting and Activism advisory.

She is a regular public speaker on topics relating to current Corporate Governance topics in the EMEA region and is based in our London Office.

She began her career as an analyst at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) advising institutional investor clients on proxy voting decisions including proxy fights and other contested situations. Following this, she spent seven years at CtW Investment Group working closely with public and union pension funds to engage companies on a variety of ESG practices such as executive compensation, human capital management and shareholder rights. Prior to joining º«¹úGV Advisors, she worked at ISS Corporate Solutions advising corporate clients in a variety of industries on executive compensation, governance ratings, and shareholder engagement.

Etelvina holds a B.S. in International Business and an MBA from American University in Washington, DC and a Masters in Financial Management from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain. Etelvina is a SASB FSA credential holder.

Sandro Barbato is a specialist in tailored corporate governance and strategic shareholder engagement, bridging the gap between listed companies and institutional investors. With over a decade of experience in capital markets, he provides boards and Investor Relations teams with the expertise, experience, and data-backed insights required to successfully navigate high-stakes governance challenges and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).

Prior to joining º«¹úGV Advisors in early 2023, Sandro held senior roles at S&P Global, IHS Markit and Morrow Sodali. Having advised on hundreds of global projects, his expertise spans proxy solicitations, alignment with corporate governance expectations, and special situations, including activism and contested votes. By rejecting a “one-size-fits-all” approach and instead utilizing his experience combined with rigorous data analytics to identify investor trends, he ensures successful engagement and meeting outcomes.

Sandro holds a German degree in Business Law and maintains a suite of high-level industry certifications, including the CESGA (Certified ESG Analyst by EFFAS), FMVA (Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst by CFI), and the ICIR (Certificate in Investor Relations by the UK IR Society). Fluent in German, Italian, and English, Sandro provides seamless support and cultural understanding across international markets. He is an active member of the Italian IR Society (AIR) and the Italian Society of Financial Analysts (AIAF, the national member of the EFFAS).

Based in London, Mayra Baraschi brings over ten years of experience across capital markets, banking, and energy sectors, with a focus on shareholder engagement and investor relations analytics.

Prior to joining º«¹úGV Advisors, she worked with Orient Capital, DFK, Deloitte, and Halliburton, where she specialized in consulting, account management, and financial analysis across diverse global markets.

Mayra’s expertise includes equity and bond analysis, market intelligence, and strategic advisory for issuers and investors, helping clients interpret shareholder behavior, anticipate market movements, and strengthen engagement strategies. Her multidisciplinary experience allows her to bridge financial analytics with corporate advisory, ensuring clients receive actionable insights aligned with their strategic and governance goals.

Known for her analytical rigor and client-focused mindset, Mayra is passionate about advancing transparency and communication between issuers and their investors in an evolving global marketplace.

Ahmed Suliman was born and has lived most of my life in London, and currently resides there. Since graduating from university, he has worked in the corporate governance and proxy services’ business, which has been 10 years.

During this time, he has worked for a proxy advisor and 2 proxy solicitation companies, where he has experienced working in both the buy- and sell-side of the industry, which entails working for major European listed companies. His areas of interests include and are not limited to corporate governance, proxy, ESG, M&A and activism, shareholder engagement, and investor relations.

German joined º«¹úGV Advisors as the company’s Digital Marketing Manager back in 2022, equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communications and Media Advertising and a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing and Customer Experience from EUDE Madrid. His strong academic foundation has empowered him with the technical expertise to skillfully navigate various media platforms, ranging from Above-the-Line (ATL) to Below-the-Line (BTL).

With an in-depth knowledge of photography, design, social media, and digital marketing, German’s comprehensive education, paired with his extensive professional experience, allows him to manage projects meticulously and resourcefully. He is a proven leader who collaborates effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.

As the Global Brand Manager, German now oversees the company’s entire brand strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment across all touchpoints. His responsibilities include developing and implementing global branding initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and representing the brand at key industry events. He also works closely with the marketing and design teams to approve all brand-related materials and marketing campaigns.

German’s expertise in social media, digital media planning, and comprehensive understanding of programmatic advertising, paid search, display advertising, and video advertising has been critical to his success. His ability to develop and execute strategic digital media plans continues to drive brand growth, build awareness, and maximize engagement across global markets.

Oliver joined º«¹úGV Advisors in 2025 to support the firm’s activism, M&A and contested situations team. Prior to this he spent over half a decade focused on shareholder voting and corporate governance research at Proxy Insight and Diligent. Oliver was instrumental in the development of a shareholder voting offering for the Diligent Market Intelligence product where he led a number of initiatives to expand the platform’s scope and functionality to better serve leading corporations and institutional investors.
